The Executive Fellowship in Advanced MIGS and Endometriosis Care: Designed along the lines of the “Executive MBA” – a curriculum, schedule and cost designed for the active professional who cannot take time away from their work and/or family to enroll in a full-time training. It is a program designed for the focused adult learner – relevant, practicable, professionally transformative.

Comprehensive Training Curriculum for transformative skill development: 18 month... longitudinal.... intensive.... manual all hands-on…..highly realistic simulation-based training program..... leveraging supervised deliberate practice …..covering the breadth and depth of MIGS skills and procedures including advanced endometriosis excision…..repetitive practice of skills and procedures on highest fidelity modeling…..in order to manage more complex gynecologic surgeries including endometriosis excision…. and become an excellent MIGS surgeon.

Convenient Scheduling for the busy practitioner:

In-person 3-day training sessions (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) held every other month over an 18-month span: ten 3-day weekends (230 hrs) of intensive hands-on high-fidelity surgical simulation training and eight Saturday remote didactic and hands-on sessions. First session is scheduled for January 9-11, 2026 with the next two sessions, March 20-22 and May 8-10.

Educational Highlights:

Small group fellowship training cohorts (Max. 6 surgeons) taught by an endometriosis surgeon expert through "supervised deliberate practice" ie. direct continuous instruction.

Expert Mentorship: the same expert will provide longitudinal instruction for the entire 18 months (in-person and remote sessions) and will be a resource for you in the development of your advanced MIGS and endometriosis excision practice.

On-line MIGS and Endometriosis syllabus.

At-home laparoscopic training and skills practice assignments: 150 logged hrs on your own HD laparoscopic camera system and Training Dome.(see the Gynecase).

OR observation and Site visits: fellows will observe performance of endometriosis expert excision and conversely will host an observational OR site-visit for their mentor.

Certification in FLS, EMIGS and sit for the ABOG MIGS Specialty Designation exam.

Total Direct Training Hours: 294 (In-person 230 hrs, remote 64 hrs)

Total Additional Assignment and Logged Practice Hours: 225 hrs
