We have developed high fidelity surgical simulation models constructed to provide realistic training in all manner of minimally invasive procedures - "Real Tissue Models". These fabricated models or tissue "cassettes" mimic normal and abnormal abdominal and pelvic anatomy providing realistic feel (haptics) and response to all surgical energy modalities. These Real Tissue Models are hand-constructed from animal tissue harvested from USDA inspected meat processing centers.
These cassettes are placed within simulation platforms (laparoscopic trainer boxes or vaginal approach platforms) appropriate to the procedural focus. These platforms are portable, low cost and can be utilized in a range of venues: from surgical lab or hotel conference room.
Tech assistance is provided for setup and breakdown of simulation labs.
Laparoscopic instruments, suture and other supplies can be provided for courses.
2D monitor systems are provided with laparoscopic simulation platforms.
More advanced laparoscopic video towers and surgical energy systems are secured from host institutions or surgical industry.
