The three day Advance MIGS Course is composed of two distinct parts:
a two day skills development lab (limited to 30 attendees)
a one day anatomic cadaveric dissection lab (limited to 12 attendees)
For the first two days, each attendee works individually on their own trainer box and monitor screen. Instruction is accomplished through projection of the preceptors monitor as well as through individual guidance.
The third day will involve a laparoscopic dissection of a cadaveric female pelvis with three attendees for each cadaver station. Close instruction is provided for each station.
